Longtime Hingham boys lacrosse coach John Todd was one of the 23 coaches across the country to be selected as 2017 National Coaches of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Coaches Association.
Todd led the Harbormen to their third state title this past season, defeating Longmeadow, 16-7, in the Div. 2 final. The head coach at Hingham for the past 29 seasons, Todd is just of three boys lacrosse in state history to have won 400 games (432 and counting).
