Notre Dame Academy President Elizabeth Pasciucco announced today the appointment of Kristen McGill as the school's new athletic director. She currently serves as the school’s assistant AD and will take over in July.

McGill, who grew up in Hingham, is a 2004 graduate of the school. She will manage a coaching staff of 55 and will supervise 34 teams at the varsity, junior varsity, freshman, and junior high school levels.

“We are deeply proud of our strong athletic program. As athletic director, Kristen will play an important role in continuing this tradition," Pasciucco said. "More importantly though, Kristen is deeply passionate about the positive role sports can play in a young woman’s life. She innately understands that the lessons a young woman learns on the field translate to personal and professional success.”

McGill earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Rhode Island in Kinesiology and she earned her Master’s degree in Communications Management from Emerson College, where she was also a Fitness Specialist and Conditioning Coach. McGill was a student-athlete at NDA, competing in soccer, indoor and outdoor track.
