This might be football season, but for one morning in Reading, the scene will shift to baseball.
The Reading community will celebrate the Hall of Fame career of former Reading High baseball coach Pete Moscariello next Saturday morning by renaming the high school field, Pete Moscariello Ballpark.
Moscariello coached at Reading for 35 years before retiring following the 2013 season. He posted a career mark of 560-208 (.729), won 14 Middlesex League title and a state championship.
